the fountain of youth

I had the fortune this week of being the 'special grown-up' who got to accompany Braylie to preschool for their Valentine's Day celebration.

It was adorable.  It was fun - and funny.  It was ... exhausting!

I'm not joking.  These kids did more activities in two and a half hours than I would attempt to do in an entire day, and we were only given a sampling of a typical school day according to the teachers.  A sampling!  If those kids don't hold the secret of the fountain of youth then their teachers certainly do.

Thank goodness for our village.  The proverb holds true - there's no way we could do this all on our own with the same results.  We are truly fortunate to have so many here to help us along our way.

Here's a small 'sampling' of our Valentine's Day ...

Diva time.

Play time.

Block city building time.

Snack time.

Not pictured here ... Bible time, gym time, craft time, game time, potty time, etc.

Home time!

Sugar time.

Also not pictured here ... the much-loved BEDTIME.

Jett didn't get his share of face time, did he?  Nope.  Okay, here you go.

You're welcome.
