She played with those little stones all night - carrying them around like they were going to run away or be stolen by elves if she let them out of her sight.
These two little stones were used as our name cards at the wedding of our good friends, Louie and Alissa Hauck. Bee and I thought it was such a unique idea - stones as name cards - and we kept them as a reminder of what was an amazing weekend spent with great friends creating memories.
It's hard to remember now ... but what strikes me is that Braylie wasn't there. I wasn't even pregnant. We weren't even married. Or engaged to be married.
We had no idea when we took those two little stones home and set them on our dresser what was in store for us. What was just a few years down the road. What the little hands that would hold them 4 years later would look like, and smell like, and feel like when they clutched ours.
We had no idea how much more amazing life would really get.
